MAKE A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION

If you want to make a financial contribution to New Day, Inc., you can do so here. Your donation to New Day, Inc. makes it possible for us to continue to minister to children and families in the Greater Johnstown area through the many programs that New Day provides. If you would like your donation to support a specific program within the New Day ministries, then please fill out our CONTACT FORM and let us know how to direct your funds. Otherwise, all gifts will support the overall programs provided by the ministry.

You can also set up a recurring donation. Once you follow the Donate Link to the right, you will be redirected to our Paypal Donation Page, where you can indicate your preference to "Make This Recurring." If you do not check the box, it will be logged as a one-time gift.

If you'd rather make a donation by mail, checks can be made out to New Day, Inc. and mailed to us at:

If you'd like your gift to go to a specific area, please indicate that on the memo line.

We would be happy to accept In-kind gifts as well. As a 501(c)3 organization, any contribution to New Day, Inc. can be used as a tax deduction, including Required Minimum Distributions from your IRA. More About Our Funding:

NDI is a non-profit 501(C)3 charitable organization that is funded entirely by the free-will contributions of individuals, churches, civic and social groups, businesses, and private grants and foundations. New Day is a separate charitable organization that is governed by its own Board of Directors and is not affiliated with anyone church group or denomination.

In support of this generous funding, New Day hosts an Annual Fundraising Banquet in the Fall at which donors pledge they are giving for the coming year. Other fundraising efforts are spearheaded by the Friends of New Day organization. Some of those activities have included an Annual Thanksgiving Hymn Sing, Boscov's Charity Coupon Day, and Christmas Gift Wrapping Booth at the Galleria Mall.

We also rely on the generous donations of goods throughout the year for supplies in our Children's Ministry Programs. Anything from paper towels to pencils, backpacks for the back-to-school giveaway, healthy snack items, and craft supplies. So much of what we use on a day-to-day basis with the kids has been donated by the community.

Grants Received!

~ The PNC Charitable Trust Grant ~

We were awarded a grant in the amount of $15,000 from The Brooks FDN Religion Dist. to invest in our overall Family Ministry Program. Thanks for investing in our community as we reach out to hurting families and individuals!

~ The Lee Initiatives Health & Wellness Endowment ~

We were awarded another grant in the amount of $10,000 from Lee Initiatives Health & Wellness Endowment, also in support of our Family Ministry Program. This grant helps us underwrite the cost of services to families in our After-School Program as well as Parenting and Professional Counseling

~ The Penelec Fund for the Future of Greater Johnstown and Robert Waters Charitable Trust of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies ~

We were awarded a grant in the amount of $2,500 from The Penelec Fund and Robert Waters Trust of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies as a support of our Family Ministry Program.

~Community Foundation for the Alleghenies ~

We were granted $1,000 from the Alan & Lana Miller Family Fund, $1,000 from the Terry & Vivian Dunkle Fund, $1,000 from the Somerset County Community Fund, and another $1,482.50 from the Michael & Mary Locke Dorosh Fund. Every grant goes a long way in providing the resources we need to serve in the community!
