REV. DAVID HAMMERLE 

    Rev. Hammerle is the director of the Adult Education Department of Blair County New Day Inc. with an office located at 1212 13

    THE INSTRUCTOR: Rev. Hammerle has had more that thirty-five years of experience as a pastor. He served his first pastorate for eleven years and he is in his twenty-fifth year of ministry at his present location. In 1986, he founded the Reach-out Counseling Service as a ministry of his church. His counseling ministry would be expanded when he later joined the staff of New Day Inc. which maintains four offices in west-central Pennsylvania (Altoona, Johnstown, Summerset, and Windber).

    After completing four years of ministerial training at Valley Forge Christian College, of Pheonixville, PA, Pastor Hammerle has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the field of English from Roberts Wesleyan College of Rochester, N.Y. His graduate studies were accomplished at St. Francis University of Loretto, PA, where he earned a Master of Arts degree in the field of Pastoral Ministry with a major in communication skills, and a Master of Education Degree. During the summer of 2000, he was granted Diplomate status by the American Psychotherapy Association (DAPA).

    Rev. Hammerle has been published in numerous periodicals and newspapers throughout the United States and Canada. His "Faith For Daily Living Television Ministry" that may be viewed on two local access channels affords him the potential of reaching over forty thousand homes.
