Rev. David C Hammerle has more than thirty-seven years of experience as a pastor and over twenty-two years experience in professional counseling. His ministerial training began with a four-year program at Valley Forge Christian College of Pheonixville, PA. He earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in the field of English at Roberts Wesleyan College of Rochester, New York. His graduate studies were completed at St. Francis University of Loretto, PA where he earned a Master of Arts Degree in the field of Pastoral Ministry majoring in communication skills and a Masters of Education Degree' In the year 2000, Rev. Hammerle was granted Diplomat status by American Psychotherapy Association which recognized him as a Psychotherapist specializing in the field of Pastoral Counseling. He is currently serving the Altoona office of New Day, Inc. as the Director of Counseling Services, Director of Adult Education, and Coordinator of their Clergy Care Program. He also serves the Altoona Regional Healthy System as a fulltime chaplain and facilitator for their Faith Based Grief Support Group. He is the father of two adult children and has been married for forty-five years. He also has three grandchildren.
